Feng Shui Office Tips!

by Suzee Miller, Feng Shui Master®

  • Clear the clutter in your office! Clutter is anything unfinished, unused, unresolved, tolerated or disorganized. Clutter will leave you with a lot of stuck, stagnant energy. Filing cabinets need to regularly purged and desktops clutter free. When you clear clutter, you create new space for new opportunities and your energy and creativity will increase as well.
  • Keep your email inbox clutter free too! If you see hundreds of emails when you open your inbox, you will feel overwhelmed. Create folders to file emails that you want to keep or refer to. Regularly delete emails that are no longer needed and always remember to empty out your delete folder. Computers are great clutter collectors and like us, they will work better without the clutter too.
  • Make sure everything at your desk allows you to be comfortable. A comfortable chair set at the right height, a mouse that fits your hand, prevent eyestrain & headaches with a glare screen on your monitor, etc. Anything that causes you discomfort will drain your energy.
  • Create a pleasant view. When you look up from your desk, what do you see? If you see a brick wall, this could explain why you are feeling stuck! Make sure what you see uplifts your thoughts and nourishes your creativity.
  • As you enter the door of your office, the far left hand corner is your Wealth & Prosperity GUA. Place a tall brass floor lamp there to light-up your wealth, a silk or real tree to metaphorically grow your wealth, or a vase of purple and gold flowers to bloom prosperity.
  • What do you see when you look out your office window? Do you look at the world through a murky lens? Cleaning your office regularly will keep the energy fresh and help you think more clearly.
  • If possible, position your desk so that you are able to sit with a solid wall behind your back to ensure that you have support in your business. However, no matter what, honor your personal Feng Shui directions first and foremost. Click here to find out what Element you are in Feng Shui.
  • Don't face away from the door if you run a business from your home. Business will symbolically come to you through the door, thus make sure not to turn your back on opportunity.
  • Treat the files in your office with respect. They represent your past, present and future business. Learn how to properly color code your business using the Five Elements Business System to multiply your sales, income and FREE time.
  • Place a pair of things in the partnership GUA area of your office to pull in more clients and business. This simple placement will magnetize customers and clients to you effortlessly.
  • Use INTENTION, the fourth realm of energy... to manifest success and good fortune. The power of positive thought supersedes negative social, financial and political environments. Thus, you cannot afford the luxury of a negative thought into your business.
  • From 2006–on (until we tell you otherwise), add more RED to your office environment to ward off possible gossip, rumors, and lawsuits.
